Everybody Nose It!!: DIY Nose Pore Strips

Hey guys!! Nose pore strips has been around my beauty cabinet since high school. White heads, sebum and a little bit of black heads are my main skin problems so it isn't a surprise that nose pore strips are really essential to my routine, but these tend to be a little pricey if used once or twice every week and everyone nose that I love DIY remedies so I looked up a natural nose pore strip recipe. It turns out to be pretty easy and I find that natural remedies work best for my skin. So today I wanna share with you this neat trick on how to create your own nose pore strips, so let's get started.

1. Prep The Ingredients

All you need is to pour a pack of unflavored gelatin on a small microwavable bowl

And any kind of milk that you like. It can be ordinary, soy, rice or almond. It depends on your preference. It doesn't matter because we only need one dessert spoon of it.

2. Combine The Ingredients

Add a dessert spoon of milk. Milk is used here to soothe the skin after pulling and evens out the smell of the gelatin.

Mix mix mix!!! until it forms a dough-like consistency

3. Heat Up The Gelatin

Put the mixture into the microwave and heat it for ten seconds

After ten seconds the mixture will look like this.

4. Apply The Mixture to Your Nose

This recipe has the same principle as waxing. Apply the mixture a little bit cooled down mixture but not to cold that the gelatin will solidify. You can apply it to your nose, chin, forehead and even your cheeks.

5. Peel Off The Gelatin

After you let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes peel the gelatin off

The gelatin you peeled off will now look like a forest of sebum, black and white head... Gross!!

6. Apply Your Treatments

After you peel it off, this is the best time to apply your treatments from your serums to your moisturizers. This way your skin sips more of the product because as of now your pores are still open. Just refrain from products that could clog pores after this diy this may worsen the condition of your pores.

And that's it!! I hope you enjoyed this simple DIY trick that I had in store for you this week. In case you try this please give me some news on my Facebook, Twitter or on the comments down below. I hope you have a great week and I'll talk to you guys soon!!

So Much Love,

Ina ♥

  2. Does it hurt when you peel it off? I've ever only been using one brand, Biore nose strips, and when I peel it, it makes my eyes waters. Ouchie!

  5. you have GOT TO TRY THE DAISO NATURAL PACK! it's also pretty good. I bought it for only RM5 which is about...69 PHP..? idk. but it's really good and if you have daiso where you live, you should definitely try it out! it's my product of the month! (more effective than biore nose strips, definitely) doesn't hurt as much either! only thing is that since it's black, you cant really see the blackheads that were removed. i'll try your diy method once i run out of the natural pack!

im really not gonna use biore nose strips anymore. not sticky, uneffective and pain -_-

  7. Yay I'm already doing this :D My problem now is what serum to apply after the peeling. Any recommendations? All that I've tried seemed to not work at all. I'm aiming at a serum/moisturizer that will minimize my pores.

    Great post btw :D
